Of course, things can go wrong during the day, but a happy start is always a better start and if you start the day well, it’s more likely to end it so.

The little things that you do in the morning can surprisingly lift your mood and give you a great start of the day.

Work out in the morning.

This might not suit us all during the week, but in the weekend or on days off, it is a great way to start the day. According to some studies, people who work out in the morning are more likely to stick with their exercise routine. This way you can’t postpone your exercise with all sorts of excuses and won’t see it as something you have to do. Also it’s an energetic way to start the day.

Give yourself a bit more time in the bath.

Have a relaxing bath or at least a long shower. Treat yourself with scented oils and products. Wash your face for a longer time and don’t forget to brush your tongue longer than usually. A quick brush will not get rid of the morning breath properly, so if you take your time not only your breath, but your whole body will be fresh.

Drink water.

It might seem odd and even feel odd drinking water on an empty stomach, but remember, you must hydrate yourself after a night and apparently it is a good way to clean your lungs and insides. Having a glass of water before the coffee can also get rid of the dry feeling you might get after.

Don’t stress yourself.

The best way to avoid it is by making the decisions the night before. Decide what you want to have for breakfast, what clothes to wear, have them ready by the morning and also plan your route to school or work in advance. Keep everything near, keys, papers, so you don’t forget them and stress yourself about them later.

Be affectionate.

It will not only make you feel good, but the ones around you too. It’s magical what a hug or a kiss can do.
