The antioxidant supplements beta carotene, vitamin A, and vitamin E may increase the risk of death rather than helping health, a new review suggests. A researcher group from Denmark published in The Journal of the American Medical Association their study conclusion. According to Harvard University researchers, there are 4 common reasons why people give up their diet. I think if you know them from the beginning you will be able to overcome them and continue with your weight loss plan.

1. Too much or too fast.

“Cause number-one [for failure] is setting too unrealistic of goals, losing too much too fast,” said Barbel Knauper, an associate professor of psychology at McGill University in Montreal. Binge Eating DisorderUS researchers from Harvard University conducted the first national survey of eating disorders and they published the results in the journal Biological Psychiatry. The study have described binge eating disorder as a major public health burden.
Binge eating is not yet officially classified as a psychiatric disorder, but it may be more common than the two eating disorders now recognized, anorexia and bulimia nervosa.

Binge eating is a pattern of disordered eating which consists of episodes of uncontrollable overeating. During such binges, a person rapidly consumes an excessive amount of food. Keep on Pedaling

Bike PedalI admit that I’m not a fan of the bike and I prefer sports like tae bo or rolling, but when I don’t have time for that I have to mount my bike and start pedaling. For me the inconveniences of cycling are:

  • The pain – my back hearts really quickly;
  • I get bored – it’s not fun to stare at the wall for 30 minutes;
  • I have a very busy schedule – I work 12 hours a day;
  • I always ask myself: why today? – maybe I’ll skip today and work double time tomorrow.

Avoiding injuries

Before you start cycling, you have to do 5-10 minutes of stretching and warm up. This will prevent the injuries and also reduce the DOMS effect (delayed onset muscle soreness) which is the pain or discomfort often felt 24 to 72 hours after exercising and subsides generally within 2 to 3 days.
