Best Hangover Cures
Hangovers are the much dreaded part of getting drunk.
After a night of drinking, you will probably wake up with headaches and bodyaches.
Your mouth will be dry and you will feel the need to drink a lot of water.
Hangovers are accompanied by nausea and dizziness. You will feel generally uncomfortable and everything will be spinning around you.
That is why I though that a few tips on how to get rid of this totally unproductive state would be great for the readers.
1. Eat before you drink
Drinking alcohol on an empty stomach is highly dangerous. It will irritate your stomach. That is why it is important to eat something in order to eliminate the dreaded hangover. So, cook yourself a breakfast rich in proteins and carbs.
2. Consume Bouillon soup
Bullion soup originates from Haiti. It is a soup that contains meat, potatoes, cabbage, celery and a number of other vegetables. It is full of minerals and vitamins which will enable your body to recover from the numb state given by the hangover.
3. Alternate your alcohol
Among the many negative effects that the alcohol has on our body, dehydration is one of them. To stop this process you should drink one soft drink (fizzy drinks are out of question!) for every one alcoholic you consume. Researchers point out that this habit will help balance out the dehydrating effects of the alcohol.
4. Stay away from dark coloured drinks
Dark coloured drinks such as red wine and brandy contain some chemicals that are commonly known as ‘congeners’. This chemicals cause the worst kind of hangovers. Therefore, make sure you avoid them and you stick to the light-coloured drinks.
5. Don’t rush to take painkillers
Many persons who experience a hangover go straight to the medicine cabinet the next morning. But specialists warn us that this is not OK. Painkillers such as Aspirin, Ibuprofen and even paracetamol can upset the stomach and they will disturb your hard-tested liver even more. So, try to prevent before you start to cure!
