Body Wrapping at Home
Body wraps can aid in healing of skin problems, tone and tighten the skin, improve circulation, alleviate muscle and joint pain, treat acne, detoxify the body and help mobilize fat so it can be eliminated from the body naturally. The effect of the wrap is determined by the ingredients that you chose to use. In order to do the wrapping at home you only need a mixing bowl, heating pot, wrapping sheets and it is also helpful if you have an electric blanket.
Instructions For Body Wrapping
Your skin grows daily. There is a continual layer of dead skin lying upon the surface of the skin. This needs to be exfoliated daily. Dry skin brushing before the body wrap will rid the body of these dead skin cells, open up the pores, stimulate the sweat glands and brush up your blood circulation. This is the most important part!
Choose Your Ingredients
A wrap does not need to have many ingredients to be effective and the exact proportions of ingredients are not too important. For one wrap, you will want to make up about 4-5 cups of dry ingredients. Now Start wrapping at the ankle’s and wrap up the legs! Always wrapping in an upward motion. It will take about 12-15 wraps for one body depending up on how much you weigh. Put on the sauna suit to stay warm. If you do not have a sweating suit, put on something to lock in the heat longer. Stay in the wraps for at least one hour and preferably lying down under a heated blanket. It is important to stay warm during treatment. The dry heat sauna will give you a more thorough treatment.
After your treatment, take off the wrap and wipe off the clay and use anti-cellulite cream if you have some. Do not shower for 12 hours after and drink plenty of water.
