December Weight Loss
I cannot believe this year has gone by so fast. It’s December one more time!
This gives you one month to look fabulous for the New Year’s Eve party. Don’t think you can eat all you want, because your New Year’s resolution will be to lose weight anyway. Statistics say 40% of Americans promise to lose weight in the New Year, however, almost 90% of those don’t succeed. This is the perfect time to stay focused, because December is the busiest month of the year.
Set goals
Don’t try to accomplish now what you couldn’t in eleven months. Try to set realistic goals! One pound (0,5 kg) per week is the healthiest way to lose weight.
Resist the goodies
Temptations will always be around you: at your office parties, when you go shopping, in your cupboard, in the gifts you receive. Stay away from the cookie plate and donate the sweets you receive.
Move around
Don’t sit in your chair listening to Christmas carols and eating candies! My advice would be not to forget about your weekly workout routine, but there are so many extra activities you could burn the fat from:
- gift shopping
- ice skating
- snow skiing
- snowboarding
- winter hiking
- snow fights
- build a snowman
- clean the house
- decorate the house
- clean the alley of snow
- dance at parties
Season sales
This is a good period for a new acquisition. You can either buy a sport related gift for someone, or invest in a sport gear for you. Here are a few sales from Amazon that kept my attention:
- Electronic Stepper
- Valeo 55cm Body Ball
- Iron Gym Total Upper Body Workout Bar
- Fitness Treadmill
- Recumbent Exercise Bike
Make this new month an opportunity to take advantage of cheap workout clothes, discounted sport items and an un-crowded gym.
So set your goals and make it happen!
