Diet Experts
Yesterday at my local gym, I was doing my regular exercises, minding my own business, but there was a man of about 45 years old “coaching” (I mean supervising not to hit anyone) his son of 10. OK, this is strange too, but there is something else I want to talk about.
This man was watching me and kept telling me all the time “that’s not good for you”, “you’re waisting you’re time”, “you’re pushing too much”, “don’t stay like that”, “do like this”. The bottom line was that he wanted to tell me that no matter what I do there (in the gym) I will not lose weight unless I will eat exclusively chicken sup for as long as it takes to lose all the fat.
I am a “lucky” girl because I always receive tips like this one about how to lose weight from taxi drivers, hairdressers, colleagues, neighbors and other “diet experts“. I’m sure I’m not the only one lucky, so you should be careful about what and who you are paying attention to.
You should always judge every diet tip you receive and not take it for granted. I’m not saying that the other person wants to harm you in any way, but they could misinform you. Even thou someone says he/she knows that for a fact because the nutritionist told him/her to do so and he/she lost all the extra weight.
When it comes to diet and weight loss, some things work perfect for some persons and some things don’t have the same effect for you. Every person is different and every person should have a weight loss program accordingly to his/her needs and metabolism.
Be careful to what you read also, because the Internet is a great source of information, but you need to choose the good info from the bad one. Don’t forget to talk to your doctor about your diet and exercise program.

I give out tons of advice when asked (since I’ve lost 90 lbs so far) – but always always always tell folks it is what works for me or what worked for a friend – and never take anything I say as advice as gospel truth.
