Being the daughter of a famous rock star may not always be a pleasant experience, especially when your family is a bit out of the ordinary.
Having paparazzi follow your every step can be psychologically challenging for an overweight teenager. The tabloids charge you for your every flaw, making one reach a certain point where he would try about anything to look perfect.
However, this didn’t seem to stop Kelly from approaching a healthier way of losing weight. After fighting with crash diets and drug addiction, she (more…)

The Facial Analysis Diet is designed by Elizabeth Gibaud who considers herself a facial analyst, a nutritionist and an iridologist. I came across this name a few years ago when Kate Winslet revealed her weight loss secret. And I remember I was amazed when I saw her new look in Titanic.
According to Gibaud before starting a diet, you should first analyze your face. It can tell you exactly what your body needs. By simply taking a look at the texture and tone of the skin and at the lines from your face you can tell whether you need to add more aliments from one group or eliminate others that are in (more…)

I recently saw an interview on CNN where Bill Clinton, the former US president, explained how he lost weight following a really strict diet (in my opinion). In his case it was something necessary, since he admitted having undergone a quadruple bypass surgery. The fact that he needed to have a stent put in forced him to do some research of his own to find out what is the healthiest way to live for people with his health condition.
Bill Clinton decided to go vegan and cut out of his diet all meats and all dairy products, forcing him to have a mainly plant based diet. (more…)

The bikes, manufactured by Raleigh Europe, will be offered to around 2,000 permanent employees of the search engine giant in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. All of the bikes – plus free helmets – will be branded with the Google name.
Holger Meyer, Germany’s first Google employee, came up with the idea and staff will be able to choose from a range of (more…)

What is a fad diet?
There is a lot of misinformation when it comes to nutrition and diets. A fad diet is supposed and promoted to improve health, but could have the opposite results if it is nutritionally unbalanced. You need to be careful, because fad diets can be harmful to your health and to your wallet.
Fad diets may:
- Promote quick weight loss or make unrealistic promises.
- Suggest special products or require special dietary supplements.
- Require certain foods to be eaten at a particular times of the day. (more…)

With the Zone Diet, Jennifer Aniston aims for a ratio of 40% carbohydrates, 30% protein, and 30% fat. According to Dr. Sears (the creator of The Zone Diet), this ratio will tune up the metabolism to burn fat, as long as you choose low-starch fruits and vegetables as your carbs. The Zone Diet also recommends lean protein sources and healthy fats, not just any meat or oil will do.
The Zone diet that Jennifer Aniston uses is intended to be a lifestyle pattern change instead of a temporary diet. The zone diet is in fact a safe eating plan that can be adopted for life if you desire. On this diet you are still eating from all of the food groups in the food pyramid, the only difference is that you are eating food in different ratio’s than what was commonly thought to be correct. You will still have a healthy and balanced diet, the main change is in the amount (more…)
