Eating healthy food doesn’t mean switching to salads. Healthy cooking is easy because in many cases, you can can change the recipes so they offer a healthier alternative.
Keep fats to minimum
It’s a good idea to minimize ‘hidden fats’ by choosing lean meats and reduced fat dairy products. Processed foods can also have lots of hidden fats. Dietary fats are best when they come from the unrefined natural fats found in nuts, seeds, fish, soy, olives and avocado because this fat is accompanied by other good nutrients. A little added oil can be a good thing. If you add a little oil to vegetable and legume dishes, it will help your body absorb fat soluble vitamins and antioxidant phytochemicals.

No Need To Knead Bread is the easier way ever to make bread. Even a 6 years old can do it. You don’t need cooking skills, you don’t need magic ingredients, just time, because you have to leave it for about 15-30 hours to rest. And you know what else? It’s light, can be used in your diet. If you are on, because it’s hard to find the right bread, you can use whole grain flour and it will work just the same.
Ingredients:
- 450 gr of any flour
- 1/4 teaspoon of dry lees
- 1 1/4 teaspoon of salt (more…)

This is a recipe that never fails.
it’s really delicious, high in fibers, low in calories and can be adapted easily to your taste.
Choose the largest mushrooms you can find to have enough room for the stuffing. Wash, clean them and remove the stems (I also remove some of the area around the stem as well), but keep them because you will use them later. Put them with the scoop upside down and leave them like that.
The Stuffing
Now take a nonstick pan and put 1 spoon of butter or olive oil, chop (more…)

I like baked potatoes because you can get a meal of one golden soft, tasty potato and it’s quite simple and easy to do.
You will only need:
- potatoes;
- oil;
- salt;
- an oven (the microwave oven is faster, but it destroys a lot of the nutrients and you don’t get the same crispy skin);
- water and a brush or sponge for cleaning the potatoes.
Clean very good the potatoes, but be careful not to skin them. With a normal fork stab them deeply for 5-10 times, depending on the size.
Dry out the potatoes with a paper towel and heat up the oven. In a small bowl put a 5-6 spoons (more…)

At first, when I saw The Flavor Spray I said “this is hilarious!”, but the more I think about it, the more I like it! The flavor spray “contain zero calories, zero fat, zero cholesterol, zero carbohydrates and FDA-approved Food flavoring” how they say.
When I’m on diet I always crave for all the bad aliments and this could be the key to overcome them, but I wonder how would a green salad with chocolate flavor taste like?
It’s great that you could add smoked bacon flavor on steamed vegetables and stay thin, but I think is hard to find a basic aliment to spray on the desert flavors and still have low calories.
I think it’s worth trying it though, as it costs only $5.95/spray of 2.0fl.oz./60ml and you can get a discount for special packages. Unfortunately, they have limited countries they deliver.

I like crackers because they are made of whole grain flour with extra-fibers, no sugar or additives added, you are satisfied with 2-3 slices for a meal and have only 32 cal/slice.
Here is a healthy snack or even a breakfast:
- 3 crackers;
- low fat cheese;
- 2 tomatoes;
- pepper, salt or any seasonings you prefer.
If you eat the crackers in the morning, you could have a green tea also.Take 1 large glass of green tea and squeeze 1/2 lemon in the glass. Eliminate (more…)

A lot of people skip breakfast for vary reasons like:
- they don’t have time;
- they try to lose weight;
- they eat an early lunch;
- they are not hungry.
This is a big mistake if you are trying to lose weight. Studies show that those who do not eat breakfast will overeat later in the day with more snacks and food for the rest of the meals. Also, eating breakfast gets your metabolism going, and so whatever is eaten in the morning is metabolized better, so you should eat breakfast especially if you are on a diet!
