Drink more water

Drink waterEveryone heard that you should daily drink plenty of water for a healthy body, but this is not so easy how it sounds.

Sometimes i just forget because there is so much work to be done, but sometimes I just don’t feel like drinking water because I’m not thirsty. Here is what you can do to improve your daily water quantity:

  • You can try to take at your working desk a bigger bottle with water and put a goal to drink it by the middle of your working hours, then refill it;
  • Drink a cup of water every time you enter the kitchen, you go to the bathroom or you answer the phone;
  • if you don’t like the taste of it, squeeze a lemon in the water bottle or even a few drops of your favorite syrup;
  • If it’s cold outside you can make a hot tea or use 2 rocks of ice if the weather is warm.

Be aware that consuming too much can block mineral absorption because food simply doesn’t stay in the digestive tract long enough for your body to extract valuable nutrients. Gas, flatulence or constipation can also result. If you haven’t been eating significant amounts of fiber, increase your intake gradually to allow the intestinal tract to adjust. [...]
