Know your Portion Size
Developing an eye for portion sizes could make your weight-loss plan. Let’s say you started your day with milk and cereals. Sounds like a good diet breakfast, right? But your cereal bowl totaled 4 servings and it has more than 500 calories for your morning alone! Look at the label and see for yourself!
Obviously the number of calories not only depends on what you eat, but also on how much you eat. If portions of even healthy foods are oversize it can lead to weight-gain. Measuring portions is the key to healthy and successful weight-loss.
Most people don’t realize how much they really eat and all they see is that they gain wait even though they are “on diet”. The portions sizes that are being served to us in the restaurants are on an average of 3 times the portion size it was fifty years ago. think of that and also take into consideration the fact that people have mote sedentary activities then fifty years ago.
