Miranda Kerr’s Diet

Miranda KerrAlthough she never had serious weight issues, being an international supermodel means having to make a lot of sacrifices to maintain a perfectly fit figure.

Miranda has managed for years to keep a slender and fit look; moreover, just two months after giving birth, she returned on the catwalk looking better than ever.

Regardless of all the fame and success, being one of the Victoria’s Secret angels is not easy by far; their bodies might look dreamlike, but in the end they are people just like us, with the difference that they can’t allow themselves to look out of shape, so they have to work hard to always look perfect.

Miranda believes that only when you are healthy on the inside, you’ll be healthy or look great on the outside, which I can only agree with. Her diet is based on a few healthy habits which she decided to share with us:

The Diet

She eats very little meat and mostly fresh veggies and fruits. She only eats organic food and drinks filtered water. Her daily menu usually consists of muesli, yogurt, fresh fruits salads, fish like tuna or salmon, lamb loin chops, almonds, pecans and walnuts. As for desert, she enjoys dark chocolate. She also drinks a cup of green or Dandelion tea every day.

Tahitian noni juice

This is her number one beauty secret and her favorite drink especially when she has a vey long day ahead of her. She claims she’s been drinking Tahitian noni juice since she was little and has worked very well for her so far, improving her immune system.

Coconut oil

She adds 4 tablespoons of coconut oil to her green tea every day. It’s what gives her hair a glossy look and maintains her skin healthy and smooth. She also adds this healthy fat in the salads she prepares, as a substitute for the regular oil. Coconut oil is renowned to maintain a healthy skin, hair and nails, but also for stress relief, maintaining a low cholesterol level, for bone strength, to prevent heart diseases, diabetes, HIV and cancer. It is very good for proper digestion and the metabolism in general.

Workout program

Although she has a personal trainer, her workout routine is quite a common one, which can be done by anyone: Pilates, boxing, running and Yoga.

Although some of you may argue that she has a lot of nutritionists and personal trainers who take care of her figure every day, Miranda could be a good example of how not to take your body for granted. Even though she looks perfect, she works hard to maintain her figure and leads a healthy lifestyle, from which we could all learn a few things.
