Some people say that choosing the right food and beverages can keep the doctor away.
I don’t think that not taking pills for health conditions is the right approach, but making the right alimentation choices can help people stay healthy for long.
This is true also when it comes to teeth and keeping them healthy and white.
We all know that there are some foods and beverages that have the tendency to stain the teeth and in some cases to destroy their natural enamel. Here are some examples:

Herbs occupy an important place in my kitchen.
I use them almost every time I cook a meal.
They add flavor to my food, make it more aesthetic and aromatic.
Plus, there is an extra advantage.
Herbs include therapeutic properties.
They can heal many wounds and cure many diseases. Therefore, I care a lot about the quality of the herbs that I use.
As I went to the supermarket one day, I noticed that the labels of the herbs commercialized in stores contain little information on the drying (more…)

I must confess, I am not a big fan of the gym.
I don’t like to execute physical exercises indoors.
Furthermore, I do not like the fact that I have to follow a previously established routine.
I am eager to innovate and encounter innovation in everything I do and this applies into my daily workout as well.
So, I thought of alternative solutions and I found some. Believe it or not, we can also burn calories in rather surprising ways. Most of them do not even require us to get out of the house (though you should not make (more…)

We know that fad diets are the least healthy choices when it comes to weight loss.
Unfortunately people still choose them and risk serious health problems.
One of the major disadvantages of these diets is the yo-yo effect which makes people gain much more weight than they manage to lose.
In some cases people suffer from sever deficiencies and anemia which leads to failures of the organs in the worst scenarios.
However, the creators of the fad diets attract adepts through some unrealistic promises that desperate people actually believe to be true. Here are just some examples:
1. Lose up to 20 pounds in just one week. This cannot possibly be true. The explanation is actually very simple. Think about how much time you (more…)

I spend many hours at the office and when I get out from work in the evening I feel so tired that I don’t feel like going to the gym and work out for an hour.
Sounds familiar?
This is the story of many of us and it is the perfect excuse not to work out at all.
Add to that the fact that the weekend is so short to spend it not sleeping or going out with friends and you get the lazy dieter who keeps complaining about the extra pounds.

I am going to share with you some tricks that I find very helpful and that worked in my case. Maybe these can be of help for you too.
1. Choose to attend the social event for the fun and not for the food.
I know this is difficult to do, but if you spend your time socializing (more…)

If I were isolated on an island and given the opportunity to take some things with me, coffee would be one of them.
Like many of you, I need this magnificent liquid to wake up in the morning.
Actually, coffee is one of the reasons I get out of the bed more cheerful, especially in the days I lack energy.
However, you must know that I don’t enjoy drinking plain coffee.
To me coffee is like a concert and its tune can be made more harmonious with some whole milk, granulated sugar or chocolate syrup. But what if you’re on a diet? Should you give up this delightful drink? Not really…
I have recently discovered some tasty coffee drinks that can have (more…)
