Sensa, The Weight-Loss System
A few weeks ago I was asked by Amanda Nelson from Rocket XL if I want to take part at a special testing of a new weight loss product, called Sensa. At first I was skeptical, I visited Sensa’s official web site, I read different opinions and in the end I said “Why not?”.
There are special incentives for you, offered by the producer. Based on the most dramatic change, 3 winners will be selected to win an additional 6-month supply of Sensa and other beauty products. All you have to do is send me “before” and “after” photos (faces may be covered), I will post the pictures during the week of February 2-6. The winners will be selected from all blogs participating at the testing.
What is Sensa?
I’ve been told that Sensa is unlike any other weight-loss program. It is a 6-month system of Tastants that are sprinkled on your food to help you feel full faster, stay satisfied longer and lose weight.
It is not a diet. You can continue to eat all your favorite foods and still lose weight. There are no prepackaged meals, stimulants, drugs or diuretics.
Sensa weight-loss system was tested on over 1,400 subjects who used the product and lost an average of 30.5 pounds (13.8 kg) in 6 months. The study abstract was published in “Advanced Technologies and Treatments for Diabetes“, First International Conference, Prague, Czech Republic, February 27, 2008.
“Sensa works with your sense of smell to curb your hunger without affecting the taste of your food. This induces something called ‘sensory-specific satiety.’ It makes your brain perceive that you’ve eaten more than you have and, thus, you eat less and lose weight.”,
says Dr. Alan Hirsch, Sensa Creator.
First day with Sensa
My Sensa package traveled half way around the world before it got to me, but that’s only my fault. The important fact is that i received it today and I used it for the first time to sprinkle it on my lunch. The food tasted the same, had the same color and odor, so everything is OK so far.
I’ll keep you updated on my progress, but I’m interested if you tried Sensa and what were the results. If you want to share your experience post a comment here or email me.
Update
I didn’t finish my Sensa package for 6 months, because in month 4 I decided to stop. There were no visible effects at all and I was feeling the same as before. I wasn’t expecting to loose the 30 promised pounds in the last 2 month and I wouldn’t even want that. It’s not healthy to lose so much weight in such a short period of time.
So now I’m relying on good old diet & sport combination to shade those pounds.
