Swim Your Fat Away
Yes, yes, I know: everybody tells you to exercise.
So, let’s change the tone a little bit: why not have fun?
What can be more fun that swimming?
Did you know that swimming works all your muscles and a rapid pace can be easily transformed into a great fitness workout?
Why swim? It has been scientifically proven that swimming improves heart and lung activities. It’s a good alternative to running or jogging. It’s a relaxing and fun activity. If you change styles (no matter if you are a professional or not) then all your muscles will be put at work.
Swimming develops not just a general muscle strength, but also endurance. Trainers will advise you to include swimming in your fitness program. If you have planned a vacation at the seaside, then use this occasion to swim at least half an hour in the morning.
Actually, you don’t need to go to the seaside in order to swim. Most hotels put at the disposal of their clients swimming pools so that the vacation package is complete.
From my own experience, I have learned that swimming in the morning boost up your energy level. Most modern fitness centers offer clients facilities for this kind of fitness workout. It is easy to keep your weight under control swimming: your body will burn between 500 and 900 calories in one hour.
A couple of laps can also be extremely relaxing. In a few words, swimming works double-way: you can use the resistance of the water to exercise or you can use the softness of the water to relax. So, this sport can burn calories or it can be a good moment to meditate and relax your mind.
If swimming sounds boring then maybe you will find water aerobics more entertaining. This aerobics combines traditional fitness movements with swimming strokes. Give it a try…who knows: maybe you will really like it!
