Tea with Cheese and Crackers

Wasa CrackersI like crackers because they are made of whole grain flour with extra-fibers, no sugar or additives added, you are satisfied with 2-3 slices for a meal and have only 32 cal/slice. :D

Here is a healthy snack or even a breakfast:

  • 3 crackers;
  • low fat cheese;
  • 2 tomatoes;
  • pepper, salt or any seasonings you prefer.

If you eat the crackers in the morning, you could have a green tea also.Take 1 large glass of green tea and squeeze 1/2 lemon in the glass. Eliminate artificial sweeteners from your diet and enjoy the benefits of natural tea that contains antioxidants which protect your body from free radicals, and has about half the caffeine of coffee.

Add fresh squeezed lemon for taste, for the benefit of vitamin C, but don’t put the lemon slice in your glass as the lemon peels can contain oxalates that may inhibit the absorption of calcium. If you have to have sweet tea, try 1 or 2 packets of fructose natural sweetener with 10 calories per packet, it is delicious and not an artificial sweetener.
