I admit that one of the biggest challenges I’m facing when going on a diet is controlling the size of my portions.
I mean, it’s not that hard for me to give up some foods and eat just the ones prescribed by the diet.
But I usually tend to overeat or to have bigger portions of what I’m supposed to eat while dieting. So what to do?
I received this gift yesterday which I think will definitely help me with this problem. It’s called the Diet Plate. And it’s designed for all of us people who don’t really know what a normal portion looks like.
In fact, it’s not just a plate, there’s also a bowl. The latter is called the Calorie Controlled Breakfast Bowl and its interior contains several color bands which help you measure cereal levels.
This means you’ll be able to have not only a healthy breakfast, but a perfectly balanced one, also. You can use this bowl for measuring the right amount of soup you should have during lunch or dinner, too.
On the other hand, the Diet Plate is designed in such a way that you can portion accurately protein, carbohydrates, vegetables, cheese and other dairy products, as well as fatty foods. Of course, if you have doubts what to put where, there’s an explanatory booklet which comes together with the plate. It contains all the necessary information you need to succeed in losing weight by using the Diet Plate.
I’m looking forward to trying this plate. I must admit I’m curious if it actually works.
According to a study carried out by the University of Calgary, it should. The findings of this study were that 17% of the people using this plate lost more weight that those who didn’t. So, why not give this system a try?
