Three Famous Women And Their Diet Secrets
I bet that you’ve always wondered, just like me, how some celebrities manage to stay fit and always have an impeccable look, not only when they walk on the red carpet, but also in their everyday lives.
Well, here are some tips from a few celebrities on how to stay fit and get that diva body you’ve always wanted:
Madonna diet
Although she never had serious weight problems, Madonna, at the age of 52 now, seems to be fitter than ever. Her secret is in Ashtanga Yoga, which keeps her in shape. She almost never has junk food.
As she said in an interview, she rarely eats in restaurants because in her opinion, one can never be sure what restaurant foods contain. She’s on a macrobiotic diet, based only on organic foods rich in lean proteins, whole grains, beans, vegetables, fish and certain types of meat.
Jessica Alba diet
Having a heavily overweight family is what mostly motivated Jessica to stay fit and eat healthy. Her secret is a common sense diet, which includes mostly vegetables, fruits, chicken, fish, eggs and cottage cheese.
She never skips breakfast and rarely has a dessert, but when she does, her choices include dried fruits, chocolate or strawberry frozen yoghurt.
As for workout, she exercises every day for about 45 minutes. Her workout routine includes 10-15 minutes on the treadmill, 50 lunges and crunches, shoulders, biceps and triceps exercises.
Jennifer Lopez diet
I could say she’s one of the lucky ones. Her secret is in finding that perfect balance between the mind and body and actually getting to know what your body needs to stay fit. We are all different, therefore we all have different needs; the secret is to find which ones are yours and stick with them.
As she declared in one of her interviews, she always tries to eat healthy, with a few exceptions when she indulges herself, like any human being. She doesn’t drink or smoke and tries to have foods from all groups.
When she wants to lose weight, she just cuts off carbohydrates from her diet. She’s also not a workout fanatic, her workout routine being mostly yoga, weights and cardio exercises, which she doesn’t do every day.
Although most celebrities have personal gyms, trainers and nutritionists, things that some of us can only dream of having, their tips can be useful for almost anyone. In the end, losing weight and staying fit is not a thing that depends on your social status, but on your will and motivation.
