Tips For Shaped Thighs

Fitness ball thighsTo have a nice looking body it’s not enough to have a healthy and balanced diet.

In order to achieve a harmonious result you also need to work out a little bit.

Some prefer to hit the gym, others go for a swim. Running, jogging or cycling are also great alternatives.

The perfect recipe would be to combine your daily activities with simple physical movements but with obvious results.

It is not that easy but it’s not impossible either. Here are some tips if you want to work your thighs without interfering too much in your program.

  • Climb stairs! Instead of using the elevator, why use the stairs this time? You improve your resistance and nicely shape your thighs.
  • Walk an abrupt street! OK, hills are harder to find in some cities but, for sure, there is at least one street perfect for an evening walk.
  • Take the bike to work! Not only you save gas but you also protect the environment. It’s healthier, it’s cheaper and it’s fun….not to mention that you avoid traffic and you may even get earlier to work!

Fitness at home alternatives

However, what can be done when there is no time to do any of these? Well, the solution is quite simple: workout at home! I have learned that it’s great and can be a lot of fun if you know a nice set of exercises.

I have recently bought a fitness ball. To be completely honest, at first, I wasn’t very excited about this idea but now I don’t let a day go by without doing some exercises. One of the simplest and more efficient exercises is the following:

Place the ball between curve of your back and the wall. Your feet should be shoulder-width. The movement is simple: bend your knees and lower your body up to 10 cm. It is important that you hold this position for a couple of seconds. Start with 5 and increase up to 12. Stop for 30 seconds of pause and then repeat the set.

You will see that, in time and with the proper diet, your thighs will look amazing…no matter if you work inside or outside the house.
